The page on the left shows a drawing Dave Purcell (Steve's brother) did of Sam & Max's original incarnation. Meanwhile, the drawing on the right was one of Steve's earliest interpretations of his brother's characters. Below are some of the original 70s and 80s comic strips created by Steve Purcell, published in his college newspaper.
